Who is Mike Tyson?
Mike Tyson was born on June 30, 1966, in Brooklyn, New York City.
He was born to Lorna Tyson and Jimmy Kirkpatrick, but his father left Mike and his mother alone. Mike was raised in very tough conditions with messy neighbours in Brooklyn.
He was involved in criminal activities till discovered by a boxing trainer called “Cus D’Amato” who met Mike when he was around 12 or 13 years old, then he had taught Mike a “peek-a-boo” style of defence, by keeping his gloves high to protect his head from attack and move his head constantly to avoid punches.
Perhaps the most important thing that Cus D’Amato taught Mike is how to build confidence and how to control fear the move this fear to his competitors because when Mike was a child he was involved in many criminal activities and went to the police station many times and he was beaten up by his neighbours till one of them kill his pigeon in front of Mike, and after that the monster woken up, Mike just started to hit this man with his hand till this man lost consciousness with amazement of all spectators, then the journey started to be the youngest heavyweight champion in history.
Mike Career:
Cus D'Amato and Kevin Rooney were Tyson's trainers until he went professional in 1985.
After stopping Trevor Berbick at age 20, Tyson became the youngest heavyweight champion in history in 1986.

Tyson's quickness, strength, and aggression defined his fighting style. His swift knockouts frequently left opponents completely stunned.

Downfall and Legal issues:
In 1990, Tyson suffered a shocking defeat to Buster Douglas, ending his undefeated streak and losing his titles.
In 1992, Tyson was convicted of raping Desiree Washington, a beauty pageant contestant, and was sentenced to six years in prison. He served three years before being released on parole.
Comeback:
After he was out of prison in 1995, Tyson tried to come back and regained the WBC and WBA titles in 1996.
Tyson's later career was marked by controversies, including biting Evander Holyfield's ear during a 1997 rematch.
